Detailed Description

Implementation of LOCA::MultiContinuation::ConstraintInterfaceMVDX for arclength continuation.

This class implements the arclength constraint equation for pseudo-arclength continuation:

\[ g(x,p,x_0,p_0,x^\ast,p^\ast,v,\Delta s)= (x-x^\ast)^Tv_x + (p-p^\ast) v_p - \Delta s \]

where $v_x$, $v_p$ are the solution and parameter components of the predictor direction $v$ respectively. Since the derivative of $g$ with respect to $x$ is just $v$, the predictor tangent, this class implements the MVDX version of the constraint interface.

The first column of dgdp should be filled with the constraint residuals $g$ if isValidG is false. If isValidG is true, then the dgdp contains $g$ on input.
