NOX Developer's Guide to the CVS Repository for NOX

The CVS repository is located on <a href="http://software.sandia.gov/>software.sandia.gov". See Bill Goldman (bgoldma@sandia.gov) for an account.

You should not do any development on software.sandia.gov. Instead, check out a copy to your local machine. Be sure to correctly set your CVS_RSH environment variable to ssh.

• To check out nox:

  cvs -d :ext:username@software.sandia.gov:/space/CVS checkout -P nox
  

• To update your copy of nox to the latest version:

  cvs update -d -P
  

We have installed a web front end for browsing and querying the CVS repository.

• Browsing: From the "CVS Query Form" select the "Trilinos Tree" under "Browse" in the yellow box on the right hand side. Next, choose "Trilinos", then "packages", and finally "nox".
• Querying: Select "nox" as the "Module"
